The hotel is advertised as a 4-stars hotel, and it may well be so based on the services. But my room was most definitely not a 4-stars room. The furniture is quite dated, which scratches almost on every piece. The beds are on wheels, which means that you cannot lay and bed and watch television or read a book while leaning on the wall. The bed will move and you will slide down. There was an armchair but the television cannot rotate so it was pointless. The minibar was not stocked. Yes, they give you free water everyday, but I would have expected a fully stocked minibar in a 4-stars hotel. Regarding the bathroom, the tap was leaking, and the toilet seat and flush were not fitted properly. I had a bathtub, which I found very odd these days, which had some sort of mark (see the picture). The shower, which is in the bathtub, hadn't been cleaned of limescale in a while. Also, because it's in the tub, it's too small. The pool terrace is nice. however, about half of the beds are not usable. The mesh is broken and detached from the frame and therefore you cannot lay on them. Also, although it's a non-smoking area, lots of people were indeed smoking. Maybe when the bar is open and there is staff there they would tell them that smoking is not allowed. In the meantime I would suggest a small plaque on each table, to remind the guest. The location is indeed good. About 5 minutes walking to the beach, plenty of nice little restaurant on the streat behind, a metro station not too far and a bus stop just outside. In conclusion, all considering I have found the Ilunion a bit too pricey for what it offers.

Very nice hotel.kind perssonal , nice breakfast , nice beds and rooms. I 100% recommend. Early check in , clean rooms,pool view is amazing. Near area with a lot of coffee shops and restaurants. 8 minutes till metro stations, 1 min to city bus 5 min to beach.

I'm looking forrward to visit Barcelona again and stay in your hotel. Nice food, great localization and very good serivce. Well comunicated and near to the Beach and bars. Near City center - Metro comunication required.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff and the waiters are very kind and professionnal. The breakfast is awesome and delicious. Great location also : 5 min to subway station and 5min to the beach (by foot).

The noise of the air conditioning in the room is very annoying. We stayed 5 nights and reported the issue after first night. The situation wasn't have any improvement and the staff is just ignoring the room change request. Will never stay this hotel again.
